We work to break down the industry barriers so the often-overlooked get an opportunity to have opportunities.

 

Her Studio is a creative production studio based in Los Angeles, offering a fresh approach to advertising. Specializing in motion and stills campaigns, we collaborate with like-minded brands to promote and market their goods and services through all public communication means, including social media, all digital platforms, and out-of-home advertising.

We are a community of storytellers – photographers, directors, filmmakers, and more. We prioritize inclusivity, ensuring that our work reflects diversity both in front of and behind the camera.

Lucia Tran (producer and former teen magazine editor) established Her Studio in 2019 out of the desire to uplift not only women creatives, but also BIPOC creatives as well.

Obviously, we’ll handle all your spreadsheets (our favorite) and do the hard work for you, so that your next project is everything you imagined and more. If you’re as mission-driven as we are, this is going to be a beautiful partnership.

    Lucia Tran

    FOUNDER & PRODUCER
    Lucia has been producing since high school. She’s finally in her 30s and feels like her back hurts all the time. Back problems aside, Lucia works hard to provide a dog Harley a life of luxury. When she's not busy taking care of her dog or plugging away at spreadsheets, she's probably laying down in the park or on an AMC theatre recliner.

    PHOTOGRAPHER
    Lily (“Lil G” as named by Lucia) has been taking pictures for as long as she can remember. She specializes in feels-good-feels-real-lifestyle imagery and promises to bring her best dance moves to set.

    Brook Sitgraves Turner

    SCREENWRITER
    Brook is a graduate of UC Berkeley and USC’s Peter Stark Producing Program. Somewhere along the line, she became a writer. In her free time she travels, advises classes for Sundance Co//ab, and attempts (and fails) to get back to her former youth as a competitive runner.

    Erick Turcios

    CINEMATOGRAPER
    A narrative & commercial Cinematographer born, raised, and based out of Los Angeles. He is a first generation child of Latino immigrants. This cultural duality broadens his scope of perspective and empathy. He enjoys shooting and emulating 16mm and 35mm film.

    Julie Figueroa​​

    HAIR & MAKEUP ARTIST
    A born and raised LA native. When she is not on set, she can usually be found spending time with her family and animals, binge watching TV, DIY-ing something, and/or eating spicy food somewhere.
